Protection against spam and online fraud is a growing priority for businesses and private users. To meet this need, SNB introduced three DNSBLs (DNS-based Blackhole Lists), some of which are free, designed to combat in a targeted and effective way the spread of harmful activities such as spam, phishing and scams. Our lists focus on three main risk areas:

Bitcoin addresses used in fraudulent operations: Our list contains Bitcoin addresses that have been identified as part of fraudulent operations. Using this list allows you to block suspicious transactions and prevent involvement in illegal activities.

ESP Provider Account (Email Service Providers): Some email service providers, such as Mailchimp, Sendgrid and others, can be used to send spam or phishing emails. Our list identifies accounts that are abused for fraudulent purposes, helping to prevent malicious messages from arriving in mailboxes.

Free email addresses used to send spam: spammers often use free email providers to mask their identity and send large volumes of unwanted messages. Our list includes email addresses from these sources, allowing you to filter unwanted communications more accurately.

All three lists are free and already protect millions of mailboxes, the list of "free" emails also has a version accessible via subscription with real-time updates.

Our free DNSBL services can be used freely to protect your systems from spam and fraud. However, we would like to point out that, being a free service, we offer no guarantee of performance. For those who need a more personalized support or if managed a high volume of mailboxes (over 5000), we are available to provide more advanced and guaranteed solutions. To facilitate integration with your systems, we have made the Apache SpamAssassin configuration files available. This open-source tool is one of the most used to manage and filter spam, and thanks to our configuration files, you can quickly implement our RBL lists, including:

HashBL Freemail: To block suspicious email addresses from free mail providers.
RBL ESP: To identify and block abused ESP provider accounts to send unwanted emails.

List of fraudulent Bitcoin addresses

To provide more comprehensive protection, we have also created a specific RBL containing Bitcoin addresses identified as part of fraudulent operations. This list is constantly updated and monitored to ensure that the information is always accurate and relevant. Apache SpamAssassin Plugin

In addition to DNSBL, we have developed an advanced Apache SpamAssassin plugin that provides additional protection against unwanted emails. This tool is able to analyze and compare received emails, labeling them as spam based on similarity with other suspicious communications. The smart algorithm behind the plugin allows you to detect and block even the most sophisticated spam campaigns, which can escape traditional filters.

Subscription service for more complete protection

The advanced plugin is available as a subscription service. This solution offers a considerable improvement in detection capabilities, allowing companies to significantly reduce the risk of phishing attacks, email scams and other forms of insidious spam. The subscription allows the synchronisation of definitions that our servers create based on spam emails that arrive daily to ensure that the system remains always effective against new emerging threats.
